One of several sketchbooks showing the development and experimentation of a fluid and reactive illustration style.
Allowing streams of ink to blot, run and staine the page, I then use the resulting lines to guide the illustration - picking out shapes and forms that feel as if they were always there to begin with.
"Like finding shapes in clouds" - this sketchbook shows some of the illustrations I've created by using un-composed lines of ink as a framework.
